Moscow Feed Mill / Kate's Mill
Go northeast of East Montpelier from US 2 on Sr 14 or north of Plainfield from US 2 on Sr 214. Sr 14 and Sr 124 merge at the south end of Montpelier Pond, then Sr 14 continues another 5 miles to East Calais. This mill is located on Woods Road just west of Sr 14 in East Calais.

This mill was associated with another mill in the village of Moscow, south of Stowe and can easily be seen from Sr 14.
The dam behind the mill is fed by Kingsbury Brook, which then flows southward, joined by Carr Brook, Pekin Brook, and Still Brook before forming North Montpelier Pond.
Both mills were owned by the Adams Family for many years.
In its later years, this mill was called Kate's Mill. It was in operation until the 1990's.
