The mill, built in 1844, is a pink colored limestone structure of 3 stories and measuring approx. 40'x 70'. The mill ceased operations in 1925 and is considered a landmark structure in the township and county. The building is set off by it's mansard roof.

A small 2 story addition on the rear also continues the mansard theme. As of October 1992, it was in great shape and had been remodeled as a branch of the Bank of Pennsylvania. In 2004, it was the M & T Bank, Merchants & Traders Bank.
