From Pa 35 in Fayette Twp., go south on Creek Road to the mill on the right in the Village of Cocolamus in the city park.

The first mill was built in 1783 by William McAlister. It burned and was rebuilt by John McAlister in 1869.

The mill was then sold, sometime after 1869, to John & James Stitcher. It was bought by Peter Brown, became known as Brown's Mill, and was inherited by Henry Brown.

Brown sold the mill to Adam Goodling. Water power was used up until it was closed in the early 1900's.

The wood frame building appears sound but inactive. There is a nice mill pond but no millrace connecting the pond with the mill.
