Old 3.5 story fieldstone mill, 35'x50' stone with 15' cement block/frame addition on rear end. Complex had been unused since August of 1987, only 3 months or so before picture was taken.

Very large frame addition plus others mostly of steel siding and/or asbestos shingle clad. It is unknown any business has located to this mill or if it is just being maintained by a historical society.

Another storage structure also in much better repair than in 1987. Actually this building was not noticed in 1987, but most certainly was present.

The Messinger's Mill had a prior roof type, namely a straight peak. The rock has been added and probably the dormers when the hip-roof was introduced.

The mill has actually inproved in overall condition and appearance since 1987, when Farm Bureau moved out to either a new location or closed their facilities in this location, as many Farm Bureau facilities closed about that time.
