Willow Hill Mill / Hoover's Mill
From the Pennsylvania Turnpike Exit/I-76 go north on Pa 75 about 0.4 miles to Pigeon Hill Rd. on the right. Take Pigeon Hill Road 0.2 miles to Creek Road. Turn right on Creek Road and the mill will be on the right.
The 38'X 45' frame of 2.5 stories frame construction is built upon a one story stone foundation.

The mill was probably built sometime within the last quarter of the 1800's. Situated along the West Branch of the Conococheague Creek in the northern-most section of Metal Township, about a couple hundred feet south of Fannett Twp.
The miller's house on the hill across Creek Road from the mill. The present owner has begun to repair the broken and deteriorating window frames in the mill. Many are still boarded-up to keep weather out until repairs are made.
The owner is trying to slow down the decay and would very likly be willing to sell to an interested party. The owner in 2008 said most of the equipment still remains within the mill.
