The mill is a 2.5 story brick grist mill built on the foundation of a stone mill previously built in 1807.
It was operated by the Seabury family for over 68 years, and became a feed mill in 1928.

It was a feed store from 1938 to its closing in 1962. After renovations, it has become a restaurant under several names.
In 2012 the name is "Hen of the Woods" at the Grist Mill. There is also a gift shop in the mill.GPS: 44D 20.53'N, 72D 44.89'W ele 449'/137 meters Middlesex Quadrangle
