Wash Creek Mill
From Pa 443 in the village of Wehr, go west about 0.5 miles to Villas Crossing Rd./T940. Turn right and drive to an S turn in the road. There will be a dirt road to the right. The mill sits back the dirt road about 500'-800', on Wash Creek, a tributary to Mahoning Creek.
The mill is located on Wash Creek, a tributary of Mahoning Creek about a mile NW of the village of Wehr on Pa 443.
The 35'X 55' sandstone mill stands 3.5 stories tall with the loading doors on the long side and a catshead along the roof edge.
The mill has been magnificently and attractively renovated into a private residence.
A extension on the back of the mill of matching stone measures about 25'X 30', probably built when renovated. A deck also fills out the opposite corner of the rear of the mill connecting the mill with the addition.
