Walter's Woolen Mill
AT Walter's Falls near Qwens Sound along the Niagara Escarpment. In town on Walter's Creek at Walter's Falls (physical).
The wool mill is at the falls. One can see the woolen mill from the existing feed mill, but not very clearly.
There also was a big saw mill beside the wool mill that was in service until it burned in 1984. An inn named "The Falls Inn" has been built on the site and opened in 2005.
Built by John Walter about 160 years ago-he built a saw mill, feed mill and the woolen mill. The woolen mill and feed mill still survive.
The first two floors of the mill are being used for storage of miscellaneous modern, odds and ends but there are some huge, old saw blades laying around, most likely salvaged from the lumber mill that used to stand near the woolen mill.
