Turley Mill
One mile NW of Success, Mo. take Sh M southwest off of Mo 17/Mo 32 combined routes that run between Roby and Success. After 4.5 miles on Sh M, turn right on CR5420 just before crossing Roubideaux Cr. and turn left onto CR 5870, cross Roubideaux Cr., pass the old school, the old church, the farm with the old merchantile on the left. About 0.2 miles beyond are the mill ruins on the left.
The ruins of the Turley Mill. Only thing left is the sill plates and the firstn floor decking on limestone blocks. The mill was steam powered enen though it was situated very near Roubideaux Creek. Probably was not a reiable water source.
The old shool on the right going the last mile on CR5870 graveled road.
The old church about 200 yards further along the road leading to Turley.
The old merchantile along the CR 5870 gravel road just before the mill ruins come into view. The picture was actually taken going back out the road. These old buildings are all that remains of Turley, except for the farmstead.
