Approaching Sumneytown from the southeast on Pa 63, veer to the right just before the Sumneytown Hotel onto Geryville Pike. The mill is the first or second place on the right.

Verse for Thought
"May the Lord our God be with us as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us."

The mill as it was in 1987 and for many years before. Very little to point to the fact that it was a mill. However, the overall shape of the house and window placement was very mill-like.

This photo close up of the corner of the mill with the bell and post. A place down near the ground could be seen that was an inlet arch bricked or rocked in.

One block north of Sumneytown Pike on Geryville Road, the second place north of the Post Office. An 1877 map shows a grist mill on the tract of Jacob Jacoby hiers. The 1871 map shows the land could be the W. Hauberger Est. It was a mill since 1780, but converted to a residence at an unknown time, then more recently into a multiple family dwelling.

The mill dam on Swamp Creek about straight east of the barn bridge to the barn.

The barn on the mill complex was not shown on the 1871 or 1877 map of the township. The stone house across the road may very well be the miller's house.

The mill from around the corner of the barn. The mill could have closed down in the early to mid 1800's and was converted into a house and the barn was built then, or the house across Geryville Pike was the miller's house, and along with the barn and mill, made up a tidy little farm/mill grouping. The renovated mill has been sectioned off into apartments/condos.
