The Weissport Grain Elevator was fed by a spur of the Jersey Central RR. It was first opened by James Blakeslee in 1894 and operated by David O. Christman.

His son, Kenneth W. Straub purchased it in 1941. It late was owned by the "Sebelin Lumber Co."
