Snyder's Mill
From Pa 225 in the village of Red Cross, go east on SR 3010 about 6 or 7 miles to the village of Greenbrier. The mill sits on the north side of Sr 3010.
Photos were taken on a Thursday with no activity at the mill. It is unknown if it is still operating; but, it was in November 1997, when Snyder's Mill (Greenbrier) was listed as a cooporating business involved in pesticde container recycling in "Pesticide Highlights", an informative bulletin put out by Penn State U. for Private Pesticide Applicators.
A millrace comes out from the mill addition.
The shed advertizes Snyder's Mill. The old building by the shed is probably a lodge, or former lodge, of some sort.
The millrace, covered over, crosses the highway about this location, going from right to left on the photo.
