Smithville / Oliphant Mill
US 30 SW of Camden, N.J. for 65/70 miles, turn north on NJ 9 at Absecon, N.J. and go north for 6/7 miles to junction of NJ 9/New York Road with Moss Mill Road. The mill is in Smithville Historic Village.
The frame 3.5 story mill of 35'X 35' proportions was moved from Sharptown, N.J. in Pilesgrove Township, Salem Co. to the Smithville Historic Village restoration around the 1990's. The mill was known as Oliphant's Mill prior to its move to Smithville.

At the Smithville Historic Village, it joins other historic buildings, some native to the area, and others brought in to create an historical, craft and gifts villiage that is authentic while functioning as a shopping mini-mall and a things-to-do location.
