The park headquarters is located off Pa 29/Gravel Pike, about one miles south of Swenksville,onto Plank Road across from Ott's greenhouse. The office, ranger station, Mill House and other facilities are located on this 55 acre site.

The 3 story frame mill, date built unknown, became the foundation for a summer retreat home for Dr. and Mrs. Hiram Rittenhouse-Loux about the turn of the 20th century.
After several owners through the 1900's, the house & property was sold to Montgomery County in 1976. It has since became a part of the Central Perkiomen Valley Park.
