Scotts Mill / Richard & Schrader Mills /
This mill sits on the east side of Concord Road at its junction with Station Road, just south of the village of Concordville.
The former mill was the Glen Restaurant in 2008.
This business began in 1884 as Abraham Scott and Son. They began with a saw mill and a grist mill, and then established a lumber yard. Photo digitally copied from an old photo on the restaurant wall.
The front of the mill, the Glen Restaurant in December 2008, now the Basin Bistro Restaurant in 2011.

Update: 12/28/2018 - Dave Schrader - The men are from left to right, Walter Schrader(my grandfather), Lewis Schrader and Taylor Richards.
The business, by 1960 had eight delivery trucks, to deliver the lumber, coal, fuel oil, and feed to it's customers. Also sold were hardware, lime, fertilizer, and paints. Pictured is some of the milling machinery inside the restaurant in 2008.
More of the milling mechanism inside the then, Glen Restaurant.
The old 2.5 story frame building, probably used for fertilizer and paint storage next to the mill. Notice it is also present on the period photo below.
