From the Square in Shrewsbury, at Forrest Ave. and Main St., go west on W. Forrest Ave. about 1.4 miles to Glen Valley Rd., turn right, and go 0.3 miles to Rennoll Rd on the left. Turn left onto Rennoll Road and go about 0.5 miles to the mill on the right.

An early atlas shows a saw mill on this site but no grist mill.

Grant Voden, famed York County mill historian, refered to the mill as a carpenter's shop that looked like a barn with the waterwheel inside.
