A very early 2.5 story frame mill with fieldstone basement. The 35x45 foot mill was built in 1894 by Menno Eberly to replace an earlier structure built in 1772 by Dr. Samuel Martin. and was of similar size , shape and construction. Joseph Overholtzer owned the mill in 1864. Before the replacement, Samuel Sensenig operated it about 1875. Notice tailrace emerging from the right-front of mill in a stone channel. Mill also used an overshot wheel probably up under the small, seemingly hanging structure behind the car.
