RUINS-Hagy's Mill
From I-476 just east of Conshohocken, exit onto Ridge Pike eastward and at the first intersection(5 way) take an angled right on W. North Lane. Follow for 2 miles to E. Hector St. The 2nd mile is E. North Lane. Turn left and go 0.25 miles to the Community of Spring Mill. Connect with River Road and go about 2 miles south to Miquon. On the south edge of Miquon turn left on Manor Road, go 0.5 miles to mill ruins and mill dam on the left just before hill where hagy's Mill road junctions from the right.
The outside of the ruins were hard to see even in 1987. The dam is behind the back wall of the mill ruins. This mill was just the result of tracking down and exploring roads named after mills. The mill area is a very scenic and wooded portion of Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, Pa. It was becoming increasingly developed even in 1987 with very nice upper income houses, so the mill and pond may be gone. If any one checks on this mill, let me know it's current status.
The walls appeared to be constructed of Pennsylvania schist rock. Some small rusted pieces of equipment were still inside the roofless structure.
An Anonymous photo added to the site this year. Apparently, some effort has been made to stabilize the ruins and dam wall.
