Pumpkin Hollow Grist Mill-replica
From Albany, cross the Willamette River on US 20 towards Corvallis, turn right on North Albany Road, left on Gibson Hill Road, then right on Crocker Lane. Turn left on Valley View Road, left on NW Hillcrest Street. The address is 2710 NW Whispering Oaks Pl, very near to North Albany Park. (Follow signs from North Albany Road to the park)

This structure replicates early mills in the area. Located on a small stream at the roughly 400' elevation, the 8 foot waterwheel is turned by the stream power, but there are no inner workings.
The mill building houses a primitive antique business...the Grand Opening was April, 2011.
The seasonal pumpkins and other rustic Americana decor decorate the front area of the mill/craft shop.
Anyone interested in buying some mules. You might find anything here, but sorry!, no mules.
