Verse for Thought
"You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever."
({Psalm 118:28 & 29 NKJV})

The frame mill on stone foundation was built about 1862 by Charles Fegley. He had previously operated the log Gerdel/Moore Mill which he purchased in 1852. This log mill he operated for six years, then tore it down and built a larger mill on the site.

This larger mill was swept away by a flood that also took out the dam in 1862. The new mill was built close by but in a better location to withstand a flood. The Fegley family operated the mill for many years. The mill has been converted to apartments since the mid-19th century.
