Take Pa 194 north from East Berlin, Adams Co. at Pa 234, for 3 miles, angle right on Bermudian Church Road and go 1 mile, turn right on Big Mount Road. The mill is on the right after crossing the Conewago Creek.

The red & brown sandstone mill measures about 40'X 65' and stands 2.5 stories in height.

The mill was built in 1782-83 by George Emig, and was actively engaged in milling up to 1931. Somewhere along the way, it was renovated into apartments. There is a nice dam nearby that backs up the millrace.
