Take Pa 24 south out of Manchester, York Co, Pa. for about 5 miles, turn right onto Sherman St. momentarily, then right again onto Mundis Mill Rd. After the bridge, keep right on Emig Rd., going past Greg Crist Memorial Park. Take the next right onto Locust Lane and on to the mill and mill house.
The very large 40'x60' brick mill commands an imposing 3.5/4 stories of height over the surrounding landscape. Located beside Locust Lane Park and the park already described in the directions.
An earlier mill was on this site from 1799. The present mill was built by Samuel Meyers and his wife in 1841.
The mill was last used by Roy Mundis as a feed mill, this being as late as 1977. The mill is now used mainly for storage.
The upper doors, sack hoist and name of builder and date. The dam was still functional in 2007, as was evidence of the millraces location.
