The 40'X 60'stone mill, built by George Merkel in 1875, is not far from Merkel's Forge, built in 1859 by the same man. More info is needed for this mill.

In 1992, the 3.5 story mill was a private residence. A witch was seen swinging from the catshead in 1992 in October.

The mill is a private residence yet in 2006 and in very good to great condition.
