The mill is a 3.5 story, stone/stucco flour mill measuring about 35'X 50'. The original mill extended beyond the far end of the mill in the picture with another 35'X 50' frame addition of 3 stories. The start of the addition contained a 3 door catshead/sack lift arrangement.

The mill, also known as Walover's Mill and Edward S. Murray's Mill, was used to produce flour, grist, wool, cotton, and paper at various times in its history. It was converted to apartments in the 1920's by Edwin S. Murray. Probably at this time, the frame portion was removed. In the 1930's, it was remodeled into a private residence.
