The mill is easy to see from the road. A small 2.5 story, 30'X 40' fieldstone structure with a 20'X 25' 2 story frame addition or close standing structure.
Longs/Hawerter Grist Mill. An early grist mill patterned along the lines of an old world mill, such as might be found in England, Wales or Scotland.
The miller's house sits across the gravel lane from the mill complex that was comprised of a barn, brewery, grist mill, & a farmhouse.
