Verse for Thought
"He who sows to his flesh will...reap corruption, but he who sows to the spirit will...reap everlasting life."
({Galatians 6:8 NKJV})

The old stone mill, 50'X 65', was built in 1787 by Jacob Eshleman although some controversy exits about the builder. Jacob Eshleman & Son 1793-1810, 1811-1825 shows Jacob & David Eshleman as owners, possibly still father & son.The mill was owned in 1899 by Silas K. Eshleman and closed in 1939.

The mill had been used as a flour and grist mill, the overshot wheel providing power to produce 10 barrels of flour/day. It has been kept in good condition, being used for storage and as a garage.
