Lisburn Mill / Hoffman Mill
Located SE of Mechanicsburg, Pa. on Pa 114 at the west end of the bridge over Yellow Breeches Creek, just west of Moores Mountain Road junction with Pa 114.
The 40'X 50' mill of 3.5 stories boasts a lower story of brownstone while the upper 2.5 stories are frame.
The mill was powered in later years by a turbine to turn the rollers used to grind wheat to flour. The mill also operated during various years as the Kaufmann Mill and the Kunkel Mill.
All the machinery is now gone, the mill being occupied as a warehouse for an electrical contractor.
A ring mounted into the sandstone foundation wall used to tie a horse to while the wagon was being loaded or unloaded.

In 1992, the mill was in a very good state of preservation as it was also in 2007.
