Layfield Mill
Just after the junction of Pa 663 & Pa 73, cross bridge over Swamp creek and turn right onto Ludwig Rd. The mill is on the right at the corner.
The 3.5 story, 40'x50'limestone/stucco mill is right in the center of the almost forgotten hamlet of Layfield.
Earlier known as Binder, Walter's, and Godshall's Mill.
Was known as Maaks Mill according to a 1770's map of the area. Miller's house is nearby.
