Located in western Cumru Twp., southwest of Mohnton, just south of the junction of Wyomissing Rd and Vermont Rd. on the east side of the Wyomissing Creek on Wyomissing Road.

Conrad Kohl engaged in general gunsmithing and gun manufacturing, of which the Mohnton area and Wyomissing Creek had numerous mills dedicated to this purpose.

The mill was also used by John Keim, a Reading hardware merchant who bought gun barrels from the local gunmakers along the Wyomissing Creek.
