The grist mill, close to the Musconetcong River which separates Hunterdon Co. from Warren Co., was built c. 1819 by the Seigel (Siegle) family.
This millstone of some type, imbedded in the grist mill NW corner wall, has the dates 1819 and 1926. The latter date may may very well be when it ceased operations and was converted into a dwelling (apartments now).
The sign is fairly self-explanitory.
