Hollenbach's Mill
Go north on Pa 309 for 2-3 miles, turn left on Mill Creek Road/Sr 4009. Go about a mile to the mill on the left between the bridge over Mill Creek and Mill Road on the left.
The mill built in 1800 by John Hollenbach. It was still in the Hollenbach family in 1914.
Measuring about 30'X 45'and rising 3.5 stories.

The mill was converted to a roller mill utilizing steam power, as more flow was needed for roller milloperation and streams tended to have less flow as they siltrated from so many dams being installed for mill powering, sort of an eventual self-defeating process.
