Heinly / Knepper / Bachman's Grist Mill
The mill is located on Pine Creek Road about 0.5 miles south of the Brobst Mill, on the west side of the road and east side of the creek, right where Gun Club Road meets Pine Creek near the Kempton Rod & Gun Club.
Owned by miller, Jacob Bachman in prior years, then sat idle for many years.
It was used as a restaurant/tavern by the name of Kline's Tavern. The odd thing is, no one in the area seems to know anything about a Kline's Inn being in the immediate area.
The owner, Susan Henriques, said that the mill was definitely located here and that the large stone portion was part of the original mill, perhaps neven more than the stone portion.
The current owners have built several additions onto the mill.
The back yard also sports an outdoor pool.
From this view, the old mill certainly looks like it was an inn at sometime in the past.
