West of Boyertown almost 1 mile from Pa 73 on Pa 562, then turn left on Mill St. Go about 0.05 mile. Mill is on left before Ironstone Cr. crossing.

The mill is a flat-topped structure of stuccoed-stone about 3 stories high. Fire probably caused some damage and it was repaired thusly. The site is presumed to be the site of the c. 1720 Colebrook Furnace, the first furnace in Berks Co., which ceased operations in c. 1770. The mill was built in 1884 on the earlier site. The miller's house stands above, higher just to the north of, the mill and fronts on Pa 562.
