Groff's Mill / Clemmer Mill
From E. Park Ave. Schwenksville, Pa., go north on Pa 73 for 1 mile, turn right on Spring Mount Rd. for 1 mile, then turn right across the Perkiomen Creek on Spring Mount Rd. when same splits at Main St. cross the bridge, an old 6-arch stone bridge, and the mill is on the left at Clemmer Mill Rd.
Not too many details are available for this mill. The 35'x60' frame building sports 3.5 stories on a one/plus story fieldstone foundation. In February 1981, an oak furniture and antiques business held sway in the old mill.
