Glenn Allen Mill
About 2 miles west of Lisburn, go south of Main St/Sh 114/Bowmansdale Road on Arcona Rd. about 1 mile, going past McCormick Rd. to junction with Cona Road at Yellow Breeches Creek.
The mill was also know as Lantz Mill and McCormick Mill. More information is needed.
The structure was built in 1830, but the mill site has been developed since the 1760's.
The outlet arch of the water from Yellow Breeches Creek used to power the mill during its operating years.
The 40'X 50' brick 2.5 story mill has a stone basement. Also, the southwestern corner has rebuilt of frame on the stone 1st story.
The present mill owners house at 928 Arcona Rd. is occupied by David McCorkle.
