One-half mile north of W Main/Sh 142 on N Sh 91/N 200 West, turn left onto E 11600 North and go 1� miles to the mill on the right just prior to crossing the Cub River. Address is: PO Box 7, 1090 West 1200 North, Richmond, Utah 84333.
This water-powered mill was established in Cache Valley by Apostle Merrill, and Brothers Hyer and Hogan of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints in 1866.
The Gilt Edge Flour Mills, a Cache Valley industry, mills a quality, balanced protein, hard-wheat flour ideal for family and bakery use.
It is powered by a water-turbine in the Cub River which develops 60 horsepower. It has a capacity to mill 80 barrels of flour daily.
This pioneer industry was established in 1866 by worker of the Morman Church. A new building, 30' X 40' has been completed and equiped with a steam grain rolling plane with electric power for steam rolling wheat, barley, and grains for feed.
Custom grain rolling will be done. A dependable outlet for the quality flour has long been established in the intermountain region. The local Gilt Edge Flour Mill has been incorporated into Central Milling, 122 E Center Street, Logan, UT 84321.
