The former Funk/Read Mill was a 3.5 story stone mill built 35x45 feet rectangular. Became a shoe factory after it's stint as a grist mill,then either burned or fell into decay and ruin. This photo taken in Nov. 1987 depicts a smaller residential house inside the existing ruins, utilizing some of the ruins walls as some of it's own.
