Fink's Grist Mill
Covington Co / Geneva Co | Alabama | USA
Watersource: Natural Bridge Creek.
Fink's Grist Mill
East of Florala, Alabama on Sh 54 about four miles, veer right onto Cr 4/Fink Mill Road. Go about 3 miles to the mill on the left at Geneva Co line.
The mill sits on the border of Covington & Geneva Co's and is actually less than one airmile from the Florida stateline.
It could almost be placed in Geneva Co. as the water of Natural Bridge Creek flows under the mill at Fink's Mill Road, the county line.
Many of the small mills of Southern Alabama and Southern Georgia have the stream flowing beneath or the mill built right over the spillway of the dam.
Natural Bridge Creek flowing under the mill.
The east side door of the mill with some ponded creek water behind.
Natural Bridge Creek prior to entering the mill by about 100 yards. The old trestles are certainly not part of the "Natural Bridge".
The cribbed NE corner of the mill building.
This picture was taken most probably from Geneva Co. on the other end of the bridge over Natural Bridge Creek.
