Go east from Brogue on Pa 74, turn left Gum Tree Road, go 4.5-5.0 miles, turn right on Gordon House Road. After 0.5 miles, turn left on Hogtown/Goram Rd., and drive 0.5miles to the mill on the right side opposite the bridge over Otter Creek and the Mill Road junction on the other side of the bridge.

The first mill to occupy this mill site was built around 1700 by William Strickler.

The mill used a 18'X 6' overshot wheel made of wood to power buhrstones to grind flour.

The mill operated from 1821 to 1948. Ervin Kohler was the operator in 1948 when the dam broke, causing the cessation of milling activity.
