The mill site is located on the north side of New McElhaney Road, about 1/4 mile east of Keeler Mill Road, west of Travelers Rest, which is on US 25 north of Greenville.

The mill was still located at this site in 2000. The owner said that when his father bought the mill property in 2000, it was all overgrown, the mill hardly visible

The young, present property owner's father cleaned up the mill and sold it to some folks from Ohio.

The date is not certain when it was dsismantled by the Ohio folks; but, in 2005, the mill was still in good condition, according to SPOOM, and there were plans underway to restore.

The mills, flour & grist mill & cotton gin, were built in the mid-late 1800's and operated into the the 1930's.
