Nicely situated in maples and dogwoods, the 35'x55', 3.5 story ivy enshrouded mill is in a well manicured, park-like setting. The miller's house is located across Bondsville Rd./Pa 340. The half story is frame while the other 3 stories are fieldstone. Interesting Quaker-style parking shed is right next to the mill. The large smokestack indicates a steam engine had been added at some point to ensure sufficient power for low water conditions or freezing weather conditions. This mill was visited last in Oct. 1987.
