ELM Feed Mill
From I-81, exit at Greencastle and take Pa 16 west to the Circle in Greencastle. Turn left onto Carlisle St. and go about 3 blocks. The old mill sits on the east side of the street on the south side of the American Legion.
The mill, 40'X 65' 2.5 story brick mill/warehouse was probably never waterpowered, although a small tributary of the Conococheague Creek flows about three blocks west, on the other side of the Penn-Central RR tracks.
The old mill structure has been adapted for use as a Church of God in Christ, Inc. More specifically, Praying Time Ministries.
A closer view of the sack hoist arangement on the south side utilizing a an attic dormer. More information about this mill is solicited.
