Dryville Grist Mill / Mathias Roth Mill
Located in Dryville along the northwestern border of Rockland Twp. On leaving Fleetwood toward the NE on Fleetwood Ave, continue on Fleetwood-Lyons Road/Sr 1010, veer right onto Fleetwood Road and continue for about 3.5 miles. The mill sits back off the road on the right a few hundred yards before reaching Lyons Rd., opposite a white church.

A small water-powered grist mill in the village of Dryville.
A third story has probably been removed from the main structure, whether the result of fire or some other cause is unknown.
This seems to be part of the return mechanism for channeling water back to Bieber Creek.
Bieber Creek photographed from the bridge over the mills driveway. A dam just below the footbridge.
Another view across Bieber Creek with the barn and a spring house on the far slope.
The barn seen in the last photo from the rear. The mill is below and to thr right, just off the picture.
The old Mathias Roth Grist Mill, c. 1840. A glimpse of the white church down the lane and across Fleetwood-Dryville Road.
Flour production was very low and was being operated by C. Keller by 1886.
One of the better views of the old mill, quite a bit altered as a residence, now a rental property.
