The beautiful residence beside Rock Run is a 35' X 50' stone structure 3.5 stories in height.

Some repairs were made to the upper left front wall and near the corner.

A flat topped stone, two car garage has been added to the right, front side using the same color rock as used in the repairs. The roof of the garage doubles as a patio/deck, with railing around the edges.

An early Chester County map from 1810, shows the mill as being Chrisman's Grist & Saw Mill. The name Dry Mill probably denoted that it was operable only during periods of down-pours or prolonged rainy spells.
