The 40'X 40' frame mill on limestone basement is very secluded and overgrown with vegetation, yet is still in quite good condition. The mill is owned by Terry Bollinger as of 1990, and had been in Bollinger ownership and operation for many years.
The inlet area on the millrace side of the mill. The millrace came off the Whitewater River a little further upstream. The small projected shed houses the turbine powered from the millrace.
A better view of the roller mill, along with a bag cart and a small bag scale. In the late 1980's , the Midwest Chapter of SPOOM met in the mill for their regular meetings.
The photo shows a price slate with some "current" prices for various milling operations. The mill was turbine powered and still, in 1990, had all it's equipment intact. The machine located under the old picture of the mill, looks to be a roller mill.
The main working entrance and mill interior access. The mill is closed but several broken window panes allowed for interior photos.
