South of Hallam and Yorkana. Just east of the end of Main St. in Yorkana at E. Prospect Road and Red Front Road. The building is about 3000' east of Kreutz Creek.

An old atlas places the Daniel Gehley Woolen Mill at this location from the 1780's.

The building has a house portion affixed to the east end. The processes included carding and looming of wool.

John W. Gehley and Daniel spun yarn, wove blankets, and made carpets here.

This picture was taken 10/25/2012. If you compare to the 1st image, the barn was slightly altered. The barn was razed in 2013 or 2014.

The mill is about 3000' from the closest stream, Kreutz Creek; but, it may have been steam powered. A rather large chiminey is situated near the westernmost end of the factory.
