From Lewisburg, go west on Sh 192 about six miles the Village of Cowan. The mill will be on the right side of Sh 192 in the middle of the village.

The first mill was built by Adan Wagoner. It burned about 1812 and was rebuilt by Jacob Baker.

The mill was again destroyed by fire. Jacob Rengler, Baker's son-in-law, constructed the third mill on this site. After a few years he sold it to Daniel D. Guldin of Berks Co.

A man by the name of Martin Rudy operated Guldin's mill. In 1873 William and Henry Mussina arrived in Cowan and purchased the mill.

The mill changed hands several times in the 20th century. The milling business ended when the mill was gutted by fire on February 12, 1942. GPS: 77' 00.48W, 40' 57.27N
