Campbell's Mill
On the south side of US 30 just west of St. Thomas. The mill is situated back off the road, but is easily seen from the road.

The mill is a 40'X 55' 3.5 story limestone grist mill thought to have been built by Captain Charles Campbell near the end of the 1700's.

The mill was also known as Parnell's Tavern for a period of time.

Sergeant Melvin Detrich lost his life in battle in the World War in the Meuse-Argonne defensive. The Detrich-Brechbill Post 612 of the Saint Thomas American Legion was named in his honor.
