Cal Groh's Mill
Go west of Schaefferstown about 0.7 miles on Pa 419, turn left on Mill Road and go about 1 mile to T at Old Mill Road. Turn right and go 0.3 miles to the mill on the left.

The mill is located about 0.5 miles upstream of the confluence of Little Hammer and Hammer Creeks. On Old Mill Road NE of Distillery Road coming from Buffalo Springs.GPS: 40' 17.09N, 76' 19.03W 502'/153 meters Richland Quadrangle
The 30'X 45' limestone mill of 2.5 stories, with red sandstone quoins, typical of Lebanon Co. mill generally. The mill is closed to operations. The construction dates and any other pertinent facts are unknown at the present time. Help from anyone who may have some info about this mill.
*Update: I have a really old 1900 picture labeled Calvin Groh Mill, Schaefferstown, Pa. My guess is that the photo would have been taken by my grandmother, Viola Blanche Snively Groh. Other photos I had with it were from 1903. Karen McCarthy 11/04/2011*
