This mill is located at 517 St. Mary St., in Lewisburg.
This mill was never powered by a water wheel. A 125 horse power engine supplied the power.
The Hon. Cyrus Hoffa is responsible for the building of this mill. Foreseeing the need for a large mill, he organized a company in the spring of 1883, which was incorporated as the Buffalo Milling Co., Limited.
The mill was built, and in no time was running day and night.
The demand for the flour was so great that additional machinery was added during the winter of 1884-85.
The mill, constructed of brick, was 120 feet long, 50 feet wide, and 70 feet high.
The capacity of the mill was 350 barrels a day; with, the mill containing 13 sets of rollers, and employing 14 hands.
One of the most popular brands of flour was the "Oriole" brand.
